Voice is not part of the current beta
Kaylio currently supports text conversations. Voice playback and live calls remain feature-disabled while server-side metering, privacy behavior, provider cost, and mobile reliability are tested.
Why it is paused
The current voice implementation is not yet suitable for tester use because its usage accounting needs stronger server-side guarantees. It will not be marketed as a paid entitlement until those controls and end-to-end tests pass.
What testers can evaluate now
The concierge beta focuses on text chat, pre-delivery safety, a user-controlled memory journal, corrected and deleted-memory behavior, and personality continuity across sessions.
